BinG! is hosting the first European Harmony Academy in 2025! In the beautiful monastery of Blaubeuren, you can immerse yourself in a week full of intensive workshops and educational opportunities. We are inviting the best Barbershop coaches in the world to work with you.

It is a 1 hour train ride from Stuttgart airport (STR), or 2-3 hours train ride from Frankfurt (FRA) or Munich (MUC) airport. From Blaubeuren train station, it's a nice, 10 minutes walk to the location. There are parking spaces in the direct area around the monastery for approx 20€ per week (to be purchased at tourist information Blaubeuren).

Who is our offer aimed at?
BinG! is expanding its educational events and offers the first European Harmony Academy inspired by the Harmony University at BHS! This event is intended as an advanced program and complement to our annual Harmony College, providing quartets and individuals in key positions within their ensembles the opportunity to engage in more extensive and intensive training in a specific area of Barbershop music.

The following seminars are available:
There will be specialized, in-depth one-week seminars on topics such as choir conducting, voice training, and coaching, as well as an intensive seminar for quartets.

Participation Costs:
- for young people (up to and including 26 years) €449,
- for BinG! members and members of European partner associations €699
- for individuals without membership in BinG! or a European partner association €799

Costs include full board and accommodation in a shared room up to 4 persons. You can upgrade to a double or single room. All rooms are with shared bathroom.

Quartet Seminar

Experience an intensive week full of coaching and workshops with your quartet! Some of the best coaches in the world will coach your ensemble for several hours each day in all Barbershop categories (Musicality, Performance, Singing). This means at least 3 coachings per day throughout the week. Additionally, you can look forward to other quartet related classes, optional performance opportunities, and exchanges with other ensembles.
In the next step, you can select the 4 individual tickets for your quartet.

Conductor Seminar

Are you an (aspiring) choir director, section leader, or looking to take on responsibility in front of a group soon? We offer you a small group tailored to your experience level (e.g., beginners, advanced) where you will learn from some of the best coaches in the world for several hours a day over the course of a week, and of course, you'll also have the opportunity to conduct and deepen your skills. Additionally, we provide workshops specifically designed for choir conducting.

Coaching Seminar

Do you want to learn how to effectively advance vocal (and Barbershop) ensembles? Whether you have been working with ensembles for a long time or are looking to start in the future, the coaching seminar gives you the opportunity to accompany our professional coaches for a week during quartet coaching sessions and learn from them. Additionally, you will also have the chance to work directly with quartets. We also offer workshops specifically tailored to coaching.

Vocal Pedagogy Seminar

Are you interested in helping others sing better? Do you want to support a choir or a quartet vocally, or lead a singing warm-up for a group? Do you already have a lot of experience? Or do you have little experience? In the voice training seminar, we will work in small groups tailored to your skill level and also offer specific workshops.
